Nishat Anjum Bini is Lecturer at Department of Social Relations, East West University. She obtained her B.A (Hons) and M.A degrees from Department of History, University of Dhaka in 2018 and 2019 respectively. She is the recipient of Govt. Honors Scholarship and she was also awarded the Academic Roll of Honor in 2020 and 2021 for obtaining top positions in Bachelor of Arts & Masters of Arts from the University of Dhaka. She is also the recipient of Dean's Award 2022. Upon completing graduation and post-graduation, she has worked for some time as a teacher for Bangladesh Studies at Sunnydale School. From July, 2020 till May 2023, she has worked as adjunct faculty in the Department of History and Philosophy at North South University in Dhaka, Bangladesh. At present she is pursuing M.Phil. degree on urban and economic history with the Department of History, University of Dhaka. She wishes to pursue her career in the academic field and her research interests lie in international history, urban history, and socio-political history of Bangladesh. Her personal philosophy is to believe in equal rights of people all over the world regardless of their races, gender, religion, ethnicities and languages. She is a proud of two prestigious organizations: Bangladesh History Association (Bangladesh Itihash Samiti) and Alliance Française Dhaka.
